Data protection
This privacy policy explains what data may be collected through the website, for what purpose, and under what conditions it is processed.
In the context of your use of the contact form, ECHN Corporate Finance, acting as data controller, may collect the personal data that you voluntarily provide, including your full name, company, email address, telephone number, and the content of your request. In the context of a chronicle subscription, the email address provided and the relevant chronicle are collected. In order to ensure website security and to prevent automated, abusive, or fraudulent submissions, strictly necessary technical data may also be processed when forms are submitted, including the IP address, the date and time of submission, and technical anti-spam verification data.
Data collected through the contact form is processed solely for the purposes of reviewing your request, contacting you again, and, where appropriate, arranging an initial professional discussion. Data relating to a chronicle subscription is processed exclusively in order to send you notifications regarding new publications in the selected chronicle. Technical data associated with forms is processed for the purposes of detecting, limiting, and preventing automated, abusive, or fraudulent submissions, and of protecting the website and the communication channels of the data controller. Such data is not sold or otherwise transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Processing of data submitted through the contact form is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely the legitimate interests pursued by ECHN Corporate Finance in responding to professional enquiries submitted through the website, and, where the request forms part of pre-contractual steps, on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Processing relating to a chronicle subscription is based on your consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Technical processing implemented to secure forms, preserve service integrity, and prevent spam is based on the legitimate interests of the data controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact data is retained for the period strictly necessary to process your request and is then deleted or archived for no longer than is justified by the relevant purpose or by applicable legal obligations. Data relating to a chronicle subscription is retained until you withdraw your consent, in particular by unsubscribing, or until the relevant list is deleted administratively. Technical data processed for spam prevention and form security purposes is retained for a limited period proportionate to the purposes of detecting, analysing, and handling abuse.
In accordance with applicable regulations, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection regarding the processing of your personal data, as well as portability where applicable. For chronicle subscriptions, you may withdraw your consent at any time through the unsubscribe link included in each email.
For any question relating to your personal data, you may write to: contact@echelon-finance.com.
